2020 Holbrooke Stake Division[]
The Church organized a new stake in Idaho on October 11th. The Rigby Idaho Holbrooke Stake was organized from the Rigby Idaho East Stake and possibility one or two additional stakes in Rigby. Currently, the Church reports only four wards in the new stake (Rigby 8th, Rigby 10th, Rigby 16th, Rigby 19th). As new stakes almost always have a minimum of five wards, it appears additional wards have not been assigned to the new stake yet per the Church's meetinghouse website or the creation of one or more new wards is imminent. The new stake is the Church's fourth stake in Rigby. There are now 134 stakes in Idaho. [1]
A new stake has been created from the Rigby Idaho East, Rigby Idaho South, Ririe Idaho and Ucon Idaho stakes. The Rigby Idaho Holbrooke Stake, which consists of the Garfield 3rd, Garfield 5th, Rigby 8th, Rigby 10th, Rigby 16th, Rigby 19th, Rigby 20th and Rigby 21st wards, was created by Elder S. Gifford Nielsen, General Authority Seventy, and Elder Michael D. Jones, an Area Seventy.[2]

Idaho Falls Idaho Temple[]
The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple is the 8th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is it was the first LDS temple built in Idaho, and the first temple built with a modern single-spire design.
