Stake History[]

President Perry (1991-1994)[]

Lee Tom Perry (1951) is a business professor, Latter-day Saint church leader, and hymnwriter. He is the son of L. Tom Perry, who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1974 until his death in 2015.

As a young man, Perry served an LDS Church mission in the Japan West Mission. He was associate dean of the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University (BYU) from 1998 to 2005. From 1991 to 1994, he served as president of the BYU 3rd Stake. From 2005 to 2008, Perry was president of the California Roseville Mission, and from 2010 to 2014 he was a member of the general board of the LDS Church's Sunday School. Perry wrote the words to "As Now We Take The Sacrament", which is hymn number 169 in the 1985 English LDS Church hymnal.

LIFE School Curriculum: an LDS gospel based homeschool program that is built on the foundation of the scriptures, giving the child a sense of who he is and setting him on the path of discovering his divine mission. It is presented in a four year chronological rotation, integrating all areas of study to create a clear picture of the history of our world.

Provo City Center Temple[]


The Provo City Center Temple is the 150th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is on the same site as the former Provo Tabernacle in Provo, Utah. Completed in 2016, the temple utilizes much of the external shell of the tabernacle, all that remained of the original building after a fire in December 2010.
