The Campinas Brazil Temple is the 111th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and the 4th temple completed in Brazil (2002) and the second built in the state of São Paulo, following the Sao Paulo Brazil Temple (1978).

Temple Facts[]

Former Brazilian missionary and then counselor in the First Presidency of the Church, [James E Faust (1920-2007) presided over the temple groundbreaking on 1 May 1998. Afterwards, local church members successfully arranged to have the temple street renamed for him.
