6 Mar 2020: Rome Italy Temple Closure[]

Due to the coronavirus emergency, the Italy Rome Temple is now closed.[1]

Meanwhile, a stake north of Seattle, Washington, has canceled all church activities and church worship services through Sunday in accordance with a government request to cancel or postpone nonessential large gatherings because of COVID-19. [2]

Bothell Washington Stake President Kenneth Williams confirmed that his Seattle-area stake has canceled sacrament meetings and other activities for the rest of the week and on Sunday to follow guidelines published by King County health officials.

Seattle Washington Temple[]

The Seattle Washington Temple is the 19th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is located on a gently rising hill across from Bellevue College. Surrounding the temple are features such as a cascading water feature, family-themed statues, and numerous brightly colored flowers, hedges, and a grove of beautiful Washington evergreens.
