Stake History[]

2019 Stake Organization[]

The Church organized a new stake in northern Luzon on March 17th. The Ballesteros Philippines Stake was organized from the Ballesteros Philippines District and one branch from the Bangui Philippines District. The new stake includes six wards: the Abulog, Allacapan, Ballesteros, Claveria, Lasam, and Sanchez Mira Wards. The new stake is the Church's first stake located on the northern shore of the northernmost area of Luzon island. There are now 108 stakes and 67 districts in the Philippines.

2021 New Stake Presidency[]

BALLESTEROS PHILIPPINES STAKE: (March 21, 2021) President — Randy Andres Ursulum, 45, Center for Leadership Communication MPA and MBA coordinator; succeeding Donald M. Credo; wife, Irene Rivad Belen Ursulum. Counselors — Julius Lascano Carpio, 34, self-employed foreman; wife, Ruth Bruce Reginaldo Carpio. Hansey Mercado Dela Cruz, 35, Development Bank of the Philippines Service Corp. driver; wife, Chi-Chi-Urbanozo Barsarse Dela Cruz.[1]

LIFE School Curriculum: an LDS gospel based homeschool program that is built on the foundation of the scriptures, giving the child a sense of who he is and setting him on the path of discovering his divine mission. It is presented in a four year chronological rotation, integrating all areas of study to create a clear picture of the history of our world.

Manila Philippines Temple[]

The Manila Philippines Temple is the 29th operating temple of the Church and is the first temple built in the Philippines (1984). Standing on a hilltop that overlooks the Marikina Valley, the Manila Philippines Temple anchors a complex of Church buildings including a temple annex, a patron housing facility, a missionary training center, and area offices. The beautiful grounds, open to the public, are filled with majestic palm trees and lush, colorful vegetation.
